COLLEGE PROFILE

Sanquan Medical College was founded in 2003. It focuses mainly on medical education together with harmonious development of education in literature, science, engineering and management. By adhering to the guiding ideology for the college management “comprehensive adaption to social needs, the full implementation of quality education, and comprehensively cultivate medical excellence” as well as highlighting the school running characteristics, Sanquan has become a new type college with distinctive characteristics and advantages.

The college has two campuses now, including Xinxiang and Pingyuang campuses. Xinxiang campus is the key field teaching base and internship base for graduates. Pingyuan campus is located in Pingyuan New District, elegant architecture, the environment clean and beautiful, which is awarded the “garden unit” title. It provides students with modern apartment facilities, campus network coverage and quality management services. At present, more than 18,400 students are in the college.

The number and quality of students are increasing year by year. For five consecutive years, the school undergraduate admission scores ranked first in the province of similar institutions. And the college won the “college graduates employment outstanding units of Henan Province”, “Henan most employment competitiveness demonstration institutions” honorary titles.  

XINXIANG CITY

Situated in northern Henan Province, Xinxiang is an important manufacturing and farm production base of the province, separated from Zhengzhou and Kaifeng by the Yellow River in the south in neighborhood of southeastern Shanxi Province in the west and western Shandong in the east. Xinxiang is the economy, eduction and transportation center of northern part of Henan Province, hornored as capital of Chinese battery industry, national intellectual property demonstation city, national health city, national garden city, the state tourist city, exellent tourism city and the best ecological livable city.

Xinxiang was site of the Battle of Mute where the Shang Dynasty was overthrown by the Zhou. Xinxiang dates from the Sui dynasty (581-618) and was a small market center before being developed as an industrial center in the 1950s. It also served as the capital of the short-lived Pingyuan province, which covers neighboring cities Anyang, Hebi, Puyang, Jiaozuo and Heze, between 1949 and 1952, for the purpose of exterminating Nationalist guerillas. 

The city lies in the drainage areas of the Yellow River and Haihe River. Therefore, plain is the principal type of landform in this city, occupying seventy-eight percent of its total land area. Enjoying a warm temperate continental climate, Xinxiang City has four distinct seasons with an annual average temperature of 14°C (57.2°F). Coldest and hottest days appear in July and January. The autumn is cool and the spring usually comes early.

Places of interests in Xinxiang include Baligou, mausoleum of Prince Lu, Most Wanxian etc. The Baligou Scenic Area is situated at the foot of the Taihang Mountains, 50 km (31 miles) away from Xinxiang City. The most famous waterfall worth seeing in the Baligou Scenic Area is the Baligou Waterfall. Yet another masterpiece belonging to the Ming dynasty is the mausoleum of Prince Lu. This well-preserved mausoleum is actually the grave of Lu Jian, the 4th son of Emperor Muzong. The Wanxian Mountain belongs to the Taihang Mountains. One of the most amazing road routes, the Guoliang Tunnel Road is a must-visit road located in Wanxian Mountain.

1.Choose one program that suits you the best.

2.Collect your application documents in accordance with our checklists as below.

    2.1 A scan copy of application form. Please make sure this form is fulfilled with your signature and photo is included.

    2.2 A scan copy of your highest academic diploma and academic transcript.

   2.3 If you are accepted by us, please submit the scan copy of acceptance letter as supporting document (Admission Offer Letter).

    2.4 Provide four copies of 38mm*51mm size passport photos and four copies of 25mm*35mm size passport photos.

    2.5 A scan copy of your passport page with personal information, photo and signature.

    2.6 A scan copy of Physical Examination Record and Blood Test Report, X-ray film, i.e. Physical and Medical Examination Certificate.

    2.7 A scan copy of Criminal Record Certificate.

    2.8 A scan copy of Financial Guarantee Certificate.

The Admission Committee makes a decision and issues a Conditional Acceptance Letter.

Transfer the tuition and accommodation fee for the first two semesters. After this, your Final Admission Letter will be issued.
