During the "Belt and Road" Forum for CN-UK Educational Cooperation, our college and British universities conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on all-round cooperation such as talent training, major building, teacher and student exchanges.

The University of Central Lancashire is one of the largest public universities in the United Kingdom. Its concept of getting rid of traditional separate status between disciplines in its Health Integration Strategies just coincides with our college's Full-Cycle Health Service Development Strategy and Major Cluster Construction. In the end, Yang Jie the president of Sanquan and Time Steele the vice president of the University of Central Lancashire reached a consensus and signed a MOU of strategic cooperation.

Both parties stated, in future cooperation under the mechanism of China-UK People-to-People Dialogue, they will actively focus on the policy requirements of Belt and Road education initiative, explore innovative methods, exchange ideas, assist each other, and commit themselves to a common development in medical fields in terms of talent training and teachers' training, etc.

After signing MOU, Jackie Day, the Director of the International Cooperation Department of the University of Central Lancashire and staff from the Department of Foreign Affairs conducted a deep discussion on the introduction of midwifery courses and credit recognition. Both parties will appoint specific staff in charge of follow-up implementation.
