In order to deeply understand the function of international exchange and cooperation, to clarify the role and significance of Sino-Foriegn cooperation in running schools, Professor Zhao Xin-shun, Dean of Miami College of Henan University, was invited to make a special report in the lecture hall on the third floor of the administrative building on the afternoon of December 11. Ma Bo, deputy dean of Sanquan presided over the meeting with more than 120 administratives and teachers attending.
First of all, Ma Bo extended a warm welcome to Professor Zhao, and introduced the achievements made in internationalization at this stage, as well as the opportunities and challenges.
Subsequently, Professor Zhao Xin-shun made a detailed exposition of eight aspects, including the historical evolution and function of universities, internationalization and sino-foriegn cooperation in running schools, the significance of cooperation, the methods, the application procedure, the management and problems, etc. Through Professor Zhao’s report, we acquired a new understanding of internationalization and the development prospect of higher education.
EXPERT PROFILE :
Zhao Xin-shun, Professor, Doctor, Doctoral Supervisor, evaluation group member for sino-foriegn cooperative education of the Ministry Of Education, vice president of Systems Engineering Society of China, academic leader of the Education Department of Henan Province. At present, he is the dean of Miami College of Henan University and a member of finance and statistics expert database of the Ministry Of Educaton. He presided over or led more than 10 national and provincial research projects and has published more than 30 papers and 4 monographs in domestic journals.
