On November 9th, a delegation headed by Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, President of the Management and Science University (MSU),Malaysia, paid a visit to North Henan Medical University (NHMU). NHMU leaders extended a reception to the delegation, with representatives from the School of International Education in attendance.

The two sides first delivered briefings on the basic profiles of their respective universities. They then reviewed the history of previous cooperation and unanimously affirmed the outcomes of existing collaborative efforts. Building on this foundation, the two parties focused their discussions on four core areas: faculty-student exchanges, internship and practical training, joint talent cultivation, and scientific research collaboration. Following in-depth deliberations, the two parties reached broad consensus on deepening future cooperation and explicitly expressed a strong willingness to comprehensively advance multi-field collaboration.

This visit not only affirms NHMU’s strides in internationalization but also injects new momentum into the two universities’ joint efforts in medical talent training and healthcare cooperation. It further propels the broader and deeper advancement of China-Malaysia medical education exchanges.
